After I wrote 'Goddess of Spring' I couldn't get the characters out of my mind, particularly the seven young children born from the Goddess. This is my first 'sequel' to a short story that is a sequel yet also has very little to do with the Goddess and her children - The Land of Fair is about an island occupied only by the descendants of the children who are all greatly devoted to the Goddess and have had no contact with the outside world. But then one young man from the island discovers a boat that has washed up on their shores and develops an unlikely friendship.
It's best to read Goddess of Spring first before proceeding.
Trigger Warning - this story has sexual content, as well as male to male relationships (so if ya don't like that sort of thing...well I don't know what to tell you
